Order Terms & Conditions
Payment
Full payment is required before doorstep delivery, if your order has a special request, or if the cake you ordered is not usually sold at the outlet where you will collect it.
General
- All prices exclude delivery charges.
- Cake designs may vary slightly, subject to the availability of decorative accessories.
- Cake colours and decorations may differ slightly from the photos because of screen and photo resolution.
- A small amount of syrup may sometimes seep from a cake because of temperature changes during storage or delivery. This is normal and does not affect taste or quality; refund requests relating to it are considered case by case.
- Hamper contents and decorations may vary slightly with stock. If an item is out of stock, a product of similar appearance and value may be substituted without prior notice.
- Fresh fruits are seasonal and their sweetness cannot be assured.
- We reserve the right to substitute, change, accept or reject any order or cake design.
Cancellation
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled. In any case of cancellation, 100% of the order value will be charged.
Refunds take 7–10 working days to process from the date of cancellation.
Exchanges
For hygiene and food-safety reasons, products cannot be returned or exchanged once sold.
Any claim for non-compliance or a conspicuous defect must be made within 2 days of delivery or collection to our customer service at sales@laurentbernard.com.sg.
Changes to an order
Changes must be made at least 2 working days before delivery or collection and are subject to a S$30 administration fee.
For errors such as duplicate orders caused by customer oversight, we refund 70% of the order value.
All changes are made on a best-effort basis; we cannot guarantee changes requested less than 2 working days before delivery or collection.
Substitution
To make sure your order arrives on time, Laurent Bernard Chocolatier may substitute an element with a similar one of equal or greater value.
Candles and writing on the cake
Please indicate the correct number of candles; we prepare the order according to the sender's request.
You may request writing on the cake. Please enter the wording correctly when ordering; messages are written in English only, and lengthy wording may not fit on the cake. We reserve the right to accept or reject any request, and it is the customer's responsibility to make sure the request has been acknowledged by Laurent Bernard Chocolatier.
Message cards
An envelope and message card are available for an additional S$5 per message, excluding GST. Please enter your message correctly when ordering; lengthy messages may not fit on the card. We reserve the right to accept or reject any message, and it is the customer's responsibility to make sure it has been acknowledged by Laurent Bernard Chocolatier.
Delivery and self-collection
All orders must be placed at least 1 working day before delivery or self-collection at a Laurent Bernard outlet.
Products are sent with the recipient's name and address only; no bill or invoice is attached. Customers sign the order on collection, and the delivery slip on delivery.
Laurent Bernard Chocolatier Pte Ltd is not responsible for undelivered products due to the absence of the recipient or a wrong address given by the customer.
Fresh flowers must be ordered 1 working day in advance; otherwise a later delivery window may be assigned on a best-effort basis.
Customer accounts, membership and rewards points
We reserve the right to lock or cancel any customer account and deny access without prior notice, at our discretion. Rewards points in locked accounts are not refundable, exchangeable or redeemable on future purchases.
