I love this cake sooo much, I buy it like all the time. Last time I buy a big one, like 1kg (very big, very serious cake). I love it, super strong chocolate smell, very wow, very unique. But… one of my guest say “too chocolatey” like… what does that even mean?? It’s chocolate cake hello??? So now I sad. Very sad. So I give 1 star. Anyway I will still keep coming back again and again to check if it still good.

i m a fan of milk chocolate so this for me was too intense, very chocoolatey and rich. i like sweet, my friends love it but i though i should share my experience, can t they do a milk version of the dark chocolate ?

This is one of the best dark chocolate cakes I could get in Singapore so far. It is not sweet but slightly bitter (I purchased the pure dark chocolate cake). To chocolate lovers, you can definitely relate with me. I could taste the cocoa (not sugar) and it melts in my mouth. When the bitterness turn into a slight sweetness as its after taste, it is definitely a nice and satisfactory experience. Highly recommended although it is not cheap in price compared to other mass produced cake. I would say it worth the price.

The texture is nice. However, it's not a high cocoa percentage and it's very sweet. As a dark chocolate lover, I'd love a cake with 70+% cocoa with a hint of bitterness.

Their pure chocolate cake is really one of the best in town that I am willing to rate it a 5 stars. The different layers were perfectly done with the ideal sweetness and intensity. Also tried almost all other cakes on the menu, but PURE chocolate cake is by far the best! Nice and cozy ambience.

Been a long fan of their pure chocolate cake. The flavour notes of the Laurent Bernard chocolates are always so delightful and well balanced. Wish they can open a baking or chocolate praline making class.

Had the signature dark mousse cake called Pure. Can’t go wrong. Shiok.
