Known in France as the Trianon, or royal chocolate cake, this is a study in textures: a soft hazelnut dacquoise, a crisp layer of Piedmont hazelnut praline and a smooth dark chocolate mousse, finished with a velvety top, hazelnuts, a green macaron and a sugar daisy.
Simple in spirit and generous in flavour, it was the Singapore River Signatures winner (2017/2018) – a cake to bring out for a birthday, an anniversary or Father's Day. Choose from 10 cm for four, 14 cm for six to eight, or 17 cm for a larger table.
Every cake comes with a cake knife. Add a message on top, candles or a birthday tag, and keep it chilled at 4°C until it is time to celebrate.
loved the little bit of crunch in this one. the chocolate and hazelnut combination was really satisfying, and it had a nice roasted flavour without being overly sweet. probably my second favourite
i brought this cake to a birthday party and it disappeared so quickly. i had several people asking where i bought it. this one is totally my fav !!!OMG
J'ai beaucoup aimé ce gâteau. Le mélange du chocolat et des noisettes est excellent, avec un croquant qui fait toute la différence. Il était aussi beau que délicieux et a fait l'unanimité auprès de tout le monde. Une très belle découverte, je le reprendrai avec plaisir.

This cake was a great surprise. The chocolate was rich, the hazelnuts added a nice crunch, and everything worked really well together. It looked amazing and tasted even better. I'll definitely be buying this one again

This Crunchy Hazelnut cake completely exceeded my expectations. The combination of rich chocolate and crunchy hazelnuts was absolutely delicious, with every bite offering the perfect balance of flavor and texture. Brought (take away) two slices of cake - Trianon and Equatorial. I was told the difference is the type of chocolate: Trianon has dark chocolate and Equatorial uses milk chocolate. They are super! I love the intense chocolate taste as well as the crunchy texture. These are definitely one of my top chocolate cakes.
i did order a chocolate birthday cake , i think it s called trianon. i really recommend this cake, it s absolutely delicious, i never eaten something like that before. i m not used to leave rating, however i think this cake really deserve to be know
Must Try! Hazelnut slice cake is amazing. Luxurious, creamy, every bite has a crunch. Rich with hazelnuts. Light and not heavy after-feel.
We ordered the Trianon cake takeaway for a birthday. Verdict: We absolutely enjoyed it. I honestly hate cakes where its chocolate on chocolate because it usually is really sweet and I get tired of eating it. But this cake is so well balanced. Its not too sweet and there are so many textures (see picture). To describe the cake to you please refer to the picture to actually see the layers. The cake comes in a square and is dusted with cocoa powder at the top. It also comes with a macaron and hazelnuts. You can request for them to actually add a chocolate sign with Happy birthday and the name of the person as well if you would like to. Surrounding the rim of the cake and the bottom of the cake is a hardened chocolate. The texture is similar to the chocolate covering on magnum ice creams but its much thinner and quite easy to cut through. There's a layer of hazelnut sponge cake at the bottom in cream colour followed by the crispy layer of gavottes right smack in the middle with the chocolate mousse at the top. Simply divine. Hard to stop at one slice!
